Am Sonntagabend, 10. Juli, um 20 Uhr läuft der Film Polyester (1981) von John Waters im B-Movie Kino auf St. Pauli. Auch dabei: Joachim aus dem Hamburg International Queer Filmtage Team mit einer kleinen Filmeinführung.

Die Komödie von John Waters handelt von einer Kleinfamilie in der Vorstadt einer US-Metropole (B-Town): Im Fokus steht die regelmäßig zum Glas greifende, latent depressive Ehefrau, die ihre Hoffnung auf "das richtige Leben" zerfallen sieht. Ein Mann, der sich als Pornokinobesitzer entpuppt, ein Sohn der einem besonderen Fetisch frönt und eine Tochter, die nun ja ... seht selbst und kommt vorbei!

On Sunday evening, July 10, at 8 p.m., the film Polyester (1981) by John Waters will be shown at the B-Movie cinema on St. Pauli. Also joining: Joachim of Hamburg International Queer Filmtage Team with a short introduction to the film.

The comedy by John Waters is about a small family in the suburbs of a US metropolis (B-Town): The focus is on the latently depressed wife who regularly reaches for the glass and sees her hopes for "real life" falling apart. A husband who turns out to be a porn cinema owner, a son who indulges in a special fetish and a daughter who, well ... see for yourself and come by!
